Michael Marra has had a long career in music and has worked hard at avoiding the music business after an early foray to London with Polydor Records. He regularly works with poet Liz Lochead in their duo show which they brought to Easdale Island in 2004, In Flagrant Delicht and was musical director for the successful TV show Your Cheatin' Heart.
Michael has recently been recording some songs at An Tobar's studio on Mull. Amongst the musicians he has been recording with, (and will be playing with), were Joe O'Rourke's wee lad, Seil's Blazin' Fiddler Aidan O'Rourke, Salsa Celtica's saxophonist Steve Kettley and woodwind player Dick Lee, (Swing 07). Things went very well apart from Michael managing to break his big toe.
